Get ready as La Villita transforms into a culinary and cultural festival of food, fun, and celebration during Oktoberfest at La Villita. Set in the city’s oldest neighborhood, Oktoberfest in La Villita takes place from September 20-22. Maverick Plaza will be the place of this three-day festival, bringing together the best of German, Czech, Polish, and Alsatian traditions.

Savor the authentic flavors of Europe as renowned area chefs showcase their culinary expertise. Indulge in mouthwatering jägerschnitzel, tantalizing charcuterie, cured meats, pork chops, pierogies, kolaches, handmade pretzels, and savory Alsatian and German sausages. Pair these delectable dishes with Hill Country wines, Texas craft beers, and authentic German brews.

Experience a vibrant celebration filled with a variety of exciting highlights! Enjoy live music and captivating entertainment, including performances by costumed dance troupes and bands. Explore a marketplace featuring vendors, local artisans, and retailers, offering unique goods and crafts. Witness the Old World charm of a traditional beer keg tapping, and test your strength in a lively Stein-Hoisting Competition. Savor authentic German, Czech, Polish, and Alsatian cuisine, prepared by renowned local chefs during cooking demonstrations. Discover the rich flavors of Hill Country wines and craft beers through special tasting events. Immerse yourself in cultural demonstrations, educational conversations on community and heritage, and enjoy plenty of shopping opportunities.
